WHY ARCTICA

BUILT DIFFERENT, NOT JUST BUILT TOUGH

Commercial Level 2 chargers all promise speed and durability. Here's what most of them don't do.

BILLS LIKE A BUSINESS

NTEP/CTEP certified metering — every session billed to a legal revenue-grade standard. Most commercial chargers can't say that.

ONE PORT, EVERY DRIVER

Standard J1772, NACS (Tesla) available. Most competitors still make you pick a connector and turn other drivers away.

NO CARD. NO APP. NO WAITING.

RFID and Plug & Charge (ISO 15118) both standard. Many chargers on the market still require a card tap before every session.

BUILT FOR EXTREME CLIMATES

Rated -35°C to +55°C. Lab-tested where it counts most.
-40°C Cold-Start

Lab-tested: 18-hour cold-soak at -40°C full-load start confirmed.

NEMA 4 / IP65 Enclosure

Dust-tight, watertight — built for snowplow spray and road salt.

-35°C to +55°C Operating Range

Certified continuous operation across the full range.

FAQ

Is the Arctica Level 2 or Level 3?

Level 2 AC, configurable at 40A, 48A, or 80A (9.6–19.2kW).

What connector does it use?

SAE J1772 standard. NACS (Tesla) available as a factory-configured option.

Can it handle extreme winters and summers outdoors?

Yes — NEMA 4/IP65 rated, lab-tested for an 18-hour cold-soak at -40°C with a full-load start confirmed afterward, and certified continuous operation up to +55°C.

Do drivers need an app to charge?

No. RFID and Plug & Charge (ISO 15118) are both standard — a session starts without a card or app.

Does every unit include the payment terminal?

Contactless Tap-to-Pay is available as an add-on, not standard on every configuration.

What software does it run on, and is it locked to CloudPerry?

CloudPerry OS, built on open OCPP 1.6J/2.0.1. You can migrate networks later without replacing hardware.

Who installs the Arctica?

CloudPerry supplies and supports the hardware and software. Installation is completed by a licensed electrical contractor — electrical work must be performed by a certified electrician wherever you're located. Non-compliant installation can void your equipment warranty and affect your insurance coverage.
